In order to provide your family with the best possible care, we will take a complete medical and dental history and the patient’s mouth will be thoroughly evaluated. During this visit, we will perform a comprehensive examination, which includes an examination of the teeth, orthodontic growth status, tissues and surrounding head and neck areas. When appropriate, x-rays will be taken to help further evaluate the patient’s dental needs. If you schedule your child for an appointment for a dental cleaning, the child may also receive a fluoride treatment and home care instructions.
